Justin Golson

Justin Golson is the TEAM PRESIDENT of the Fort Worth Braves and an entrepreneur whose leadership is rooted in discipline, family values, and building organizations that create opportunity.

Born in Ithaca, New York and raised in Syracuse, Golson grew up playing football from a young age before later relocating to Tennessee. The lessons he learned through the game—work ethic, accountability, and teamwork—continue to shape the way he approaches business and leadership today.

A businessman first, Golson has built his career through entrepreneurship and community relationships. He is the founder of Cold Cutzzz Mobile Barbering, a service-based business built on trust and personal connection, and operates CheckDaascore Films, a media platform focused on telling the stories of athletes and teams. He is also involved in several real estate ventures, reflecting his long-term focus on building sustainable opportunities through business.

Through his work with athletes and local programs, Golson naturally became involved in player development and program building within football. In 2023 he founded the Tennessee Hornets organization, helping create opportunities for athletes while building relationships that expanded opportunities for players beyond the United States.

With the Fort Worth Braves, Golson’s vision is simple: build a disciplined and competitive organization that respects the deep football culture of Texas while becoming a team the local community can take pride in supporting.

Justin resides in Pittsburgh with his wife Claire and their daughter Isabelle. Claire works as a Licensed Practical Nurse, and together the family shares a passion for sports and travel. Over the years they have traveled extensively as a family, attending hockey, football, and basketball games across the country and visiting every state along the East Coast. Their daughter Isabelle loves anything involving entertainment and the energy of live events.

Justin and Claire have been married for five years and believe strongly in building both family and business with the same foundation—commitment, trust, and hard work. As they begin spending more time in Texas, the Golson family looks forward to embracing the traditions of the region, including attending their first rodeo.
