His career includes extensive international experience across Mexico and Europe—coaching in countries such as Austria, Germany, the Czech Republic, Finland, and Switzerland—while also gaining exposure to high-level Division I programs in the United States, including work as a guest coach with Oregon, California, and San Diego State, along with visits to Colorado and Alabama. Earlier in his career, he was part of the Texas Longhorns strength and conditioning staff, contributing to one of the top units in the NCAA. He is also the founder of Bullnox, an innovative weight room equipment concept aimed at revolutionizing training standards in Mexico. He continues to bring a global perspective, strong leadership, and a commitment to making a lasting impact on every program he serves.

Juan Wong is a former professional wide receiver and experienced offensive coach with a strong international football background, now serving as the Offensive Coordinator for the Fort Worth Braves. He brings a unique combination of high-level playing experience and proven player development to the Braves’ offensive unit.
Wong’s professional playing career includes time in the Arena Football League with the Dallas Desperados, along with multiple seasons in NFL Europe with Rhein Fire, Frankfurt Galaxy, and Hamburg Sea Devils, where he competed at a high level and contributed to championship-caliber teams. He also gained NFL exposure through training camp opportunities with the New York Jets, giving him firsthand experience in elite-level systems and preparation.
He developed his foundation at ITESM Laguna in Mexico, where he earned Rookie of the Year and Offensive Player of the Year honors while establishing himself as one of the program’s top offensive threats. Wong also represented the Mexico National Team, earning a silver medal in international competition and further expanding his experience on the global stage.
Since transitioning into coaching in 2009, Wong has served in multiple roles including wide receivers coach, offensive coordinator, and head coach. His coaching experience spans youth, collegiate, and international programs, where he has been responsible for installing offensive systems, developing quarterbacks and skill players, and leading teams to championship success at the developmental level.
As Offensive Coordinator for the Fort Worth Braves, Wong leads an offense built on discipline, adaptability, and execution. Darrell Patterson brings elite experience, proven leadership, and championship pedigree to the Fort Worth Braves as Defensive Coordinator, returning to Texas after his most recent tenure with the Winnipeg Blue Bombers of the Canadian Football League.
A TCU legend and one of the most dominant defensive players in program history, Patterson built his foundation at Texas Christian University, where he remains the school’s all-time leading tackler with 544 career stops. A four-year starter and defensive cornerstone, he earned multiple honors during his collegiate career and was later inducted into the TCU Athletics Hall of Fame.
Following his time at TCU, Patterson was selected in the 1983 NFL Draft by the New York Giants before transitioning into a successful professional career in the CFL. He starred with the Winnipeg Blue Bombers and Hamilton Tiger-Cats, earning Defensive MVP honors, serving as a team captain, and capturing a Grey Cup championship.
Patterson’s transition into coaching has spanned decades across the collegiate and professional levels, where he has built a reputation for developing disciplined, physical defenses and high-IQ linebackers. Ben Banogu brings elite-level experience and championship-caliber standards to the Fort Worth Braves as Defensive Line Coach. A former standout at Texas Christian University, Banogu was one of the most dominant defensive players in the nation during his collegiate career, earning First-Team All-Big 12 honors and serving as a team captain.
Known for his explosiveness off the edge and high motor, Banogu finished his college career as a Lombardi Award Semifinalist and received an invitation to the prestigious Senior Bowl, solidifying his status as one of the top defensive prospects in the country.
He was selected in the 2nd Round of the 2019 NFL Draft by the Indianapolis Colts, where he competed at the highest level of professional football, gaining valuable experience in elite defensive systems and player development environments.

Tyren Quinn brings high-level playing experience, international perspective, and a proven defensive mindset to the Fort Worth Braves as Defensive Backs Coach. A former standout defensive back at the University of Kentucky, Quinn was a four-year contributor in the SEC, competing against some of the top offensive talent in the nation.
Known for his football IQ, discipline, and physical style of play, Quinn built his reputation as a reliable and intelligent presence in the secondary. His experience in one of college football’s most competitive conferences laid the foundation for his transition into coaching and player development.
Following his collegiate career, Quinn expanded his game internationally, gaining professional playing and coaching experience overseas, including time in emerging football markets such as China. This global exposure has shaped his approach to coaching—blending American fundamentals with a broader understanding of the game’s growth and adaptability worldwide.
As a coach, Quinn emphasizes technique, communication, and situational awareness, developing defensive backs who can excel in both man and zone concepts while maintaining a professional standard on and off the field. His focus is on preparing athletes not just to perform, but to advance.
